Legoland Here We Come!

LEGOLAND
We have been very excited about our trip to Legoland for quite some time now! We planned to stay at our time share near the park to enjoy an entire weekend of family fun.

YAHOO! We finally made it to the hotel! Although we arrived around 7PM, we went to the pool. Mikey, Mia and I swam til about 10PM. Mike watched because he couldn't get his leg wet. I don't think he minded. He was so relaxed on the lounge chair.
It was a chore to get Mikey and Mia to go to sleep. They were so excited. FINALLY Mikey told Mia that the sooner they went to sleep, the sooner it would be morning. Thank goodness for that!

We made it!

Daddy was a trooper at Legoland. He had ACL/MCL surgery just weeks before. We had to take good care of him and elevate his leg as much as possible. It's Mikey's turn to take care of daddy on the ride.

Mikey's first roller coaster. He said, "Mommy I almost cried, but then it was so awesome."

This was a fun ride. I couldn't stop laughing. Mikey & Mia kept screaming.

They were nonstop!

Mia was so excited to see the princess, but nervous the sit with her.

Mia passed out in the log ride line. Daddy held her even though he had a hurt leg.

Daddy took advantage of the log ride. A perfect time to sit and rest his leg. Mikey loved it!

ICE CREAM BREAK! I got a great picture of Mike eating his ice cream, but couldn't embarrass him. I don't want it to come back to get me.

Princess Roo & Spider Pook.

I was amazed by all the Lego's. Of course they were great photo ops!

Mikey in the fishbowl! We went to the aquarium at Legoland. It was short and sweet. Mikey and daddy really enjoyed it. Mia and I were EXHAUSTED!

Touching a starfish!

Our first trip to Legoland was so much fun. Even though Mia couldn't get on a few rides she had a blast. She and Mikey got on their first roller coaster. Mia said she was scared, but felt safe next to daddy. Mikey's favorite ride was the roller coaster. Mia liked the scream ride. She said she won't be going on the dragon coaster again. When we got to the hotel, they took a bath, but Mikey didn't wash the face paint off. He wanted to keep it on to show EVERYONE!

The Sleepover!

Mikey and Mia have had cousins sleepover, but this was the first time they had a slumber party with a friend. They swam, played, went to a Concert in the Park and played more. They had so much fun. If it were up to him, Mikey would have Cassie over every day. She is his best gal pal and it is so cute to see how excited he is around her.

They had fun on the teeter totter. Cassie pushed with so much force, both Mikey and Mia flipped off. They LOVED it!

TRANSFORM & ROLL OUT!

They got finger lights at the concert, so they palyed in the pitch dark for a bit. Every now and then someone would run out of the room screaming. I was amused. Mike's ears hurt.

Mikey & Cassie didn't want to leave Mia out so they opted to sleep in the game room. The moment they woke up, they were at it again. I can't believe the energy they have. Mikey had so much fun with Cassie, they planned another sleepover at her house.

THE RIVER!!

Everyone knows how much we LOVE the RIVER!! So far we have gone twice, but with Mike's recent surgery, we have to cancel anymore trips until August.

Our first trip was with the Mullings and Holmes families. The second trip was with the Mullings family. We met up with my brothers and dad also. Both trips were so much fun. I can't wait to go again!

The Angel Game!

Go Angels!!

To start our summer, Mike was excited to take us to an Angel game. Mike just decided to send an email to our Eastvale neighbors to ask if anyone had tickets for sale and low and behold he got a quick response. Not only were the tickets cheap, our seats were GOOD. So we got ready and went to the game that night!
In the past, this has been a doozey because someone gets restless, so our fingers were crossed.

Mikey wanted to catch a ball so bad. It was too cute!
The night was a success! We danced during the 7th Inning Stretch and cheered the Angels on all night. Mikey & Mia enjoyed ice cream and lots of snacks. Mia even liked the fireworks. She was so proud that she didn't get scared.
After the game, I told Mikey and Mia that Nino John & Gary like the Dodgers. Mikey thought that was funny. He said, "What? They're so crazy!"

A few weeks after our family trip, Mikey took Mike to another game for Father's Day.
They had a nice boys night out.
Happy Father's Day Daddy!

Mia's Big Night!

Mia's Recital

Mia has been in Tap and Ballet since February. She absolutely loves it. Everyday after school, she asks if it's time for dance. On Friday, June 26, Mia performed in her very first recital. Her Nina, Nino, Christian, G-ma Linda, Nana, Grandma's friend, Mikey, Daddy and Mommy came to cheer her on!

The theme of Mia's dance was flower garden. She was a red flower.

Nana drove ALL THE WAY DOWN to watch Mia from Ridgecrest. While Grandma came just weeks after her big surgery. Mia is so blessed to have such supportive and loving grandmas.

Miss Kaylee & Mia

Miss Kaylee was Mia's dance teacher. She worked with little ones from 2.5-4 years old. As a teacher, I thought I had patience, but she was amazing. Miss Kaylee did a wonderful job.

Overall the recital was amazing. I started to cry shortly after we sat down and didn't stop until it was over. I was a wreck. Thankfully the lights were off. When Mia's class went up to perform, she started off slow, but when she saw us she happily waved, shouted "HI!" then started to dance. I LOVE being the mommy of a Little Dancer Roo.
